Big Boss Brewing is doubling its brewing capacity by adding tanks and equipment to its Raleigh brewery. The expansion will allow Big Boss to offer more bottled beers and expand its distribution territory this year.
Brewmaster Brad Wynn said that the expansion should be complete in the next few months. The company already sells three of its varieties (Hell’s Belle, Angry Angel and Bad Penny) in bottles in local stores. Fans will find two additional beers in bottles this year – the Blanco Diablo wit ale and High Roller IPA. The Blanco Diablo six packs should be hitting store shelves in a few weeks, followed later by the High Roller.
Big Boss also plans to make another attempt to distribute beer on the coast and plans to expand to other areas such as Fayetteville and Pinehurst. But, Wynn said, for now the company plans to keep its distribution area inside state lines.
