Anheuser-Busch plans to spend more than $7 million to expand its canning capacity at its plant in Syracuse, N.Y., with the help of a $900,000 state economic development grant, The Wall Street Journal reports. General Manager Steve McCormick said the new line will put about 15 different A-B brands in 24-ounce cans, which are increasingly popular. The company makes Budweiser, Michelob, Bass Ale, Rolling Rock and other beers and malt beverages.
