Demand for exhibition floorspace at a record high

Six months before the start of the drink technology India and the International PackTech India, the demand for exhibition floorspace has reached a new record high. The organizers of this successful trade show double feature (Messe D?sseldorf for the International PackTech India and Messe M?nchen International for the drink technology India) expect an increase in sold floorspace of between 10% and 20%. Both trade shows will take place under one roof in Mumbai from 25 September until 27 September and present solutions for the international packaging, package labelling, processing, food and beverage industries. Both organizers share a special focus on the food processing segment.

Already, both trade shows have an extra 10% more floorspace than during the respective period two years ago. A total of at least 260 exhibitors are expected for both events; they will present their products and services in Hall 1 of the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Center. During the previous double feature in November 2012, the organizers recorded a total of 220 exhibitors. This year’s number of visitors is also expected to rise. A total of 7,500 specialists visited the last event, this year, the hosts anticipate about 8,500.

Although the hall floorplan preparations for the dual trade show are already underway, interested companies can still register online for the International PackTech India (www.packtech-india.com) and the drink technology India (www.drinktechnolgy-india.com).

For companies requiring support for their move into the Indian market or their trade show presentation, the partners of the drink technology India are providing service packages called “Your success in India”. Preparations for the supporting programme are also well under way. The International PackTech India conference with the title “Processing and Packaging: „Newer Concepts & Technology Update” was organized by the IPMMI – Institute of Packaging Machinery Manufacturers of India and the IFCA – Indian Flexible Packaging & Folding Carton Manufacturers Association with support from Messe D?sseldorf and Messe D?sseldorf India Pvt Ltd.

For the first time, drink technology India will feature Round Table Talks: manufacturers from the beverage and food segment will present case studies to illustrate a specific topic. The presentation will be followed by a discussion with suppliers and the audience. The overall subject of this year’s Round Table Talks is “The Outlook for Beverages and Food in India 2020.”
A second feature of the drink technology India supporting programme is the exhibitors’ forum with exhibitor presentations on the subjects of “Beverage“ and “Food”.

The VDMA Fachverband Nahrungsmittelmaschinen und Verpackungsmaschinen (Food processing and packaging machinery association) is the conceptual sponsor of the drink technology India and the International PackTech India, and KHS, KRONES, PENTAIR and SIEMENS are official partners of the drink technology India.
