San Miguel Corporation (SMC), a Philippines-based food, beverage and packaging company, has reached an agreement with G K Skaggs, a global importer with a national distribution platform in the US, for import and distribution of San Miguel’s beer brands within the US.
Pursuant to the distribution agreement, G K Skaggs is now importing San Miguel Pale Pilsen, San Miguel Light, San Miguel Red Horse and San Miguel Cerveza Negra.
The Pale Pilsen is the international flagship of the San Miguel Corporation. San Miguel Cerveza Negra, the Philippines only dark beer, will be launched throughout the US in the Spring of 2011.
SMC operates over 100 major manufacturing facilities and exports its products to more than 40 countries outside the Philippines.
GK Skaggs specializes in the sales, marketing and distribution of Premium and Specialty Imported Beers and Wines across the US.
It is a longstanding member of various Industry Associations, such as; NWBA – National Beer Wholesalers Association, CBBD – California Beer and Beverage Distributors, PLMA – Private Label Manufacturers Association and the IBA – International Beverage Alliance.
