Rainy July has turned German beer statistics into red. While yearly beer sales in Germany after the month of June were still positive with 1.0 %, adverse weather conditions kept Germans from drinking beer in July and caused a year-to-date minus of 2.2 %. Looking only at the month of July beer sales decreased in Germany by a devastating -16.7%.
