Sun King Brewing is planning to invest $3.9m to expand its US facility to increase beer production.

The expansion will add 1,850ft? of space to its current 2,700 ft? facility and create around 32 new jobs by 2016.

The facility, which is located at 135 N. College Ave. in Indianapolis, Indiana, will house 240 barrel fermentation tanks.

Sun King Brewing will receive approximately $240,000 in conditional tax credits and around $60,000 in training grants from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard said Sun King Brewery has a choice, and they choose to invest in Indianapolis.

“Our pro-business climate and stable tax structure are some of the great reasons top companies such as Sun King Brewery locate and expand operations here,” Ballard added.

Sun King Brewing, which was established in 2009, brews and distributes handcrafted seasonal and specialty beers.
