GEA Brewery Systems exhibits the skid-mounted brew system in 2-vessel configuration with mash/lauter tun and Whirlpool/wort kettle, designed for a flexible batch size from 20 to 35 bbl (25 to 40 hl) hot wort and ready for single-step infusion mashing.

On the way to continuous brewing – The future?
Continuous production processes are still very attractive for the brewing industry.
Small product flow rates result in constant small loads on boiler house and electrical system. Combined heat & power plants including solar heat are easy to integrate. Reducing malt throw and increasing brewhouse capacity to 36 brews per day leads to peak reductions by 75 %. Advanced wort boiling technologies allow evaporation rates down to 1 % and, together with small motors for pumps and drives, contribute to energy savings.
GEA Brewery Systems demonstrates project solutions with a daily capacity of 14,000 hl and the potential of continuous wort production.
