N?rnbergMesse North America has split the InterBev product coverage into two targeted shows, InterBev Beverage and InterBev Process. With this move, the show – already well-established and highly regarded on the US market – is preparing for the future by making a clear separation between individual product categories. Exhibitors can now efficiently present their offerings to closely defined target groups. It starts with InterBev Beverage in Chicago from June 10 to 13, 2014. InterBev Process will follow in September 2015.

The well-known InterBev show for beverage trends and innovations in North America is now InterBev Beverage and InterBev Process. N?rnbergMesse North America made the change to better meet the specific needs of exhibitors and attendees. The two shows offer new, target group-specific venues for beverage wholesalers, retailers and online dealers, and for manufacturers and buyers of capital goods. Both shows will be held together with other events in order to provide maximum benefit for exhibitors and attendees alike.

InterBev Beverage: A new format for the beverage trade
InterBev Beverage will be held every year together with FMI Connect, an international show for the food retail trade. The next date is June 10-13, 2014 in Chicago. The show is sponsored by the American Beverage Association (ABA). InterBev Beverage covers the entire beverage consumption market, from the beverage itself to marketing to point-of-sale equipment. It is the most important event for beverage retailers, nationwide and regional trade and grocery chains, independent representatives and online beverage dealers. Some 100 exhibitors will present to around 2000 trade attendees solutions for all aspects of sales-ready beverages and their presentation to the consumer. In addition, exhibitors expect that most of the 15,000 or so FMI Connect attendees will also visit InterBev Beverage.

InterBev Process:The beverage industry value creation chain
InterBev Process is a new, goal-focused show for the beverage industry. It kicks off September 15-18 in Chicago and will thereafter be held every odd-numbered year together with PROCESS Expo, North America’s leading trade show for the food and beverage industry. As a capital goods show, InterBev Process covers the entire beverage industry value creation chain, from raw materials to technology to packaging and logistics. Around 150 exhibitors will present their solutions and innovations to some 2000 trade attendees, as well as a large part of the approximately 21,000 attendees of PROCESS Expo.

N?rnbergMesse Group expertise in the beverage industry
The two new InterBev divisions are a perfect fit in the N?rnbergMesse Group portfolio, with its recognized expertise for the beverage and packaging industries, among others. Andrea Paulinelli, Director of InterBev with N?rnbergMesse North America, sees great value in this setting: “We are very glad that with InterBev Beverage and InterBev Process, we can draw on the extensive experience of the N?rnbergMesse Group in these areas. With BrauBeviale, FachPack and BIOFACH we have three major shows, from which these two new shows can draw great benefit.” In the late 70s the beverage industry found a trade show home at BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, Germany. In 2014 BrauBeviale is the world’s leading capital-goods show for beverage production. From November 11 to 13, it will bring together an extensive range of some 1300 exhibitors of raw materials, technology, logistics and marketing ideas with around 33,000 attendees who are looking to invest. FachPack is one of Europe’s most important packaging shows, and in 2015 it will offer a wide range of solutions around beverage packaging and logistics. BIOFACH, the world’s leading trade fair for organic food, also makes its contribution to the beverage market with a focus on organic beverages. “So that gives us a great starting position for InterBev Beverage and InterBev Process to become the place where industry meets for the beverage trade and industry in North America,” said Paulinelli.
