At the 35th EBC Congress in Porto, Tobias Becher from ZIEMANN International GmbH, Ludwigsburg, will be presenting a newly developed milling system. The technical lecture will be held by Tobias Becher on May 27, 2015 at 09:30 a.m. in session 2.

Starting point of the newly developed system is the fact that all milling systems that are currently used, have characteristic disadvantages. Wet crushing mills, for example, wear out faster, dry roller mills have a lower specific performance and the use of hammer mills results in higher energy costs. In addition, the respective milling system must be adjusted to the lauter technology. Hammer mills are for example suitable for a mash filter but not for a lauter tun. Last but not least, all milling systems are only ideal for the processing of a limited variety of raw materials.

The new milling system of ZIEMANN breaks the boundaries regarding lauter technology and use of raw materials. At the same time, the milling system “One for all” is absolutely competitive under the aspects of quality, performance, wear and energy costs. This will be shown by Tobias Becher by means of the practical results in a pilot plant.
