Brauhaus Faust: Successful first brew
ZIEMANN International GmbH, Ludwigsburg, and the traditional Brauhaus Faust have reached the next milestone in their joint brewhouse modernization project. On Saturday, April 11, 2015 the first brew was successfully mashed-in, cast-out and pitched in the fermentation cellar of the brewery in Miltenberg. „Everything went perfectly“, summarized Cornelius Faust, Technical Managing Director of the brewery: „And this applies to the entire project. Ziemann has always provided good support and competent advice. Our decision in favour of ZIEMANN was absolutely right.”
In the new brewhouse, the Brauhaus Faust will produce its beer specialities with the latest ZIEMANN brewing technology. The brewhouse is equipped, among others, with a Shark wort boiling system, a Lotus lauter tun and a mash kettle with Colibri agitator. In addition, the Brauhaus Faust decided in favour of a Diamond, which works according to the same principle as a continuous, dynamic coolship. After an optimization phase, ZIEMANN will finalize the brewhouse project in Miltenberg in the second quarter of 2015.
