In 2015, exports of the Chinese beer amounted to 265.3 million litres, which is 2.9% more than last year. Totally, 257.9 million liters of beer were sold abroad in 2014. In December 2015, the beer export volumes from China increased by 22.2% and amounted to 26.1 million litres.

The export share of the Chinese beer remains low, but it shows a steady growth. The trade balance remains negative, since the volume of the exports are two times lower than the imports of beer in 2015.

If we look at the general dynamics, the growth rates of exports slowed down last year. For example, in 2014 the export of beer in China increased by 3.6% and in 2015 by 2.9%. However, given a decreasing trend in production volumes and import growth, the dynamics of exports looks good.
