In 1Q2016, the market share of Carlsberg Kazakhstan in the total sales volume in the Kazakh beer market amounted to 35.5% (in the off-trade channel according to retail audit by Nielsen Kazakhstan), which is 4.2 p.p. higher than the same period in 2015.
The most significant market share growth in 1Q was reached by the following company’s brands: Zatecky Gus, Bolshaya Kruzhka, and Irbis.
Among the trade channels modern retail is showing the biggest share growth of Carlsberg Kazakhstan company: +10.5% against the same period in 2015.
In March 2016, Carlsberg Kazakhstan represented a specialty to the Kazakh market, Baltika 5 Mild which is brewed specially for the Kazakh market basing on the preferences of the local consumers.
