Steven Bosch replaces Henricus Petrus van Zon, who will move on to a new assignment with Dutch beer major Heineken

United Breweries Ltd (UBL), the maker of Kingfisher beer, has named Steven Bosch as its chief financial officer effective 1 September.

Bosch replaces Henricus Petrus van Zon, who will move on to a new assignment with Dutch beer major Heineken, UBL said in a notice to the BSE on Wednesday evening.

Heineken had indirectly acquired a stake in UBL following its worldwide takeover of Scottish & Newcastle Ltd in 2008.

Van Zon served as the financial chief of India’s largest brewer for more than three years.

“The company would like to place on record its gratitude for the significant contributions that Mr. van Zon has made during his tenure,” UBL said in the notice.
