From the idea of a differently designed lautering technology NESSIE by Ziemann (detailed professional article DBMB no. 2 / 2017), via the development work in the company-owned pilot brewery in Ludwigsburg, up to the first brews in a commercial brewery environment in Switzerland and France; this development culminated in the completion of the core component NESSIE with its upstream and downstream process steps, which were finally combined to the unprecedented brewhouse solution OMNIUM by Ziemann and which has already been implemented in two well-known breweries: the Schlossbrauerei Reckendorf near Bamberg and the Ratsherrn Brauerei in Hamburg. BrauBeviale 2020: #StrongerTogether for a strong beverage industry

BrauBeviale is one of the most important capital goods trade fairs for the international beverage industry. In 2019 it attracted around 40,000 German and international trade visitors who wanted to find out all about the beverage industry process chain from the 1,086 exhibitors, 54 percent of them from outside Germany. In a year in which the coronavirus crisis is imposing major challenges on the exhibition industry and other sectors, the BrauBeviale team is again working flat out to ensure that a beverage industry gathering will be able to take place in Nuremberg from 10 to 12 November 2020, because in these trying times the sector needs its “meeting place” more than ever. GEA launches new filling technology for ESL beverages

GEA has recently launched its new Whitebloc Filling System Aero that has been specially designed to be used for bottling Extended Shelf Life (ESL) beverages. Whitebloc Aero has been developed with the benefit of GEA’s extensive experience in aseptic filling to inspire the design.
