The Russian government has prepared amendments to the legislation providing for a ban on the production and sale of alcohol in plastic bottles larger than 1.5 liters, reported on the website of the Cabinet. On 27 May, it became known that the usual «big green stick» bottle of Snow Beer of 580 ml was substituted by a new pack of 500 ml. A row of supermarkets practically do not propose beer in the old pack any more as it was replaced by half-liter bottle which has already become standard. (more…)
On May 24, 2016, at a board meeting an elective resolution was taken to close Chongqing Brewery Bozhou Co., Ltd in Anhui, with a production capacity of 40 mln liters of beer per year.
