According to Jeff Wu, Marketing Director of TAP Group, in 2015, the Thailand beer market grew by 1.3% by volume compared to 2014. The share of beer premium segment, where Heineken trademark is available, continued to account for 96% of the market. (more…)

India. Heineken takes larger swig, ups UB stake to nearly 44 per cent

Dutch brewer Heineken International on Wednesday moved closer to gaining a controlling stake in India’s largest beer manufacturer United Breweries (UB), acquiring 4.2 million equity shares through bulk deals on the stock exchange.
