The introduction of a minimum price for alcohol will unfairly hit responsible drinkers in low-income families, while doing nothing to change the drinking habits of problem drinkers, SABMiller plc, one of the world’s leading brewers, said today (Wednesday 28 November 2012) in response to the launch of the consultation on the UK Government’s alcohol strategy. Mr. Michael Adrian Norton Olsen and Mr. Richard Edzeame have been appointed the new Marketing and Supply Chain Directors of Accra Brewery Limited respectively, effective 1st November 2012. Mr. Olsen replaces Mr. Philip Norley, who has since left the company, whiles Mr. Edzeame is to take over from Mr. Tony Medway, who departs at the end of the year. (more…)
