Russian beer market 2021

In 2021 Russian breweries have not lost their consumers, it even turned out that they started drinking more beer at home and more often. The market has held the high bar of the previous season, yet now it is growing by value and polarizing by price segments. The competition in the market has been determined by Carlsberg Group (that has regained its volumes, having sacrificed the margin) as well by rapidly growing private labels and import. In those conditions, AB InBev Efes and MBC demonstrated a good stability, while Heineken was reluctant to lose profitability and lost some of its share. The regional breweries in the east of the country also yielded their positions.

Beer market of Ukraine 2021

The year of 2021 has given the brewers a chance to relax a little bit. Formally the production has been decreasing but most importantly, the market has stopped experiencing pressure from excessive stocks and producer’s and retail prices have gone upwards. The price growth was initiated by AB InBev Efes which negatively affected its share. The main market trends of 2021 are unprecedented growth of non-alcoholic beer output, restoring of the market share of kegged beer as well as rapid expansion of the can. Low starting position, growing role of supermarkets and Obolon’s activity promote the growth of this package.

Due to current developments, a physical edition of Beviale Mexico in March 2021 would impose too many restrictions and requirements. In consultation with the Advisory Committee, we have decided to hold a Beviale Mexico eSpecial in March 2021 instead. We believe it is important to create an opportunity for the Mexican beverage industry to meet for the first time on the way to the first physical event in 2022.

Beviale Moscow 2021 adapts to current situation: new location, new date, new opportunities

To prepare the best possible framework for staging the event in 2021, Beviale Moscow is relocating to the “Main Stage” event venue in the centre of Moscow. The date of the event for the Russian and international beverage industry has been moved forward by a week and it will now take place from 16 to 18 March 2021. Since its launch in 2015, Beviale Moscow, Russia’s first trade fair for the entire beverage production chain, has evolved into an established, popular, and well-supported event for the sector in Eastern Europe. The trade fair could not be held in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Beviale Moscow is part of the Beviale Family, NürnbergMesse Group’s global network for the beverage industry.

Beviale Mexico 2021 as eSpecial

Beviale Mexico 2021, Central America’s first beverage fair for the entire production chain, which was scheduled to open its doors from 2 to 4 March 2021, will now take place online as an eSpecial in March 2021. To make it easier for industry professionals and other interested parties to take part while continuing their everyday business, the event has been staggered over three dates. On 16, 23 and 30 March 2021 the online platform will offer live activities like presentations, seminars, and discussion panels, which can also subsequently be downloaded on demand. The networking platform including all features and services will be available to the industry over the entire period.
