FOSTER’S shares pretty much kept pace with the sharemarket’s latest rally yesterday despite a pedestrian June 30 result because there was enough in the profit and what chief executive John Pollaers said about it to suggest that SABMiller will need to sweeten its $4.90 a share offer to win control. Plze?sk? Prazdroj has started a trial run of its new PET bottling line. With a maximum output of 18,000 bottles per hour, the line is Plze?sk? Prazdroj’s biggest one–off investment over the last five years. The value of the line and the overall technical design is approx. CZK 150 million. Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE:TAP – News) today announced that it has strengthened the leadership team supporting its growing Molson Coors International (MCI) business. Torsten Kuenzlen, formerly President Director of Coca-Cola’s Indonesia region, has joined as MCI’s new Chief Marketing Officer. Celso White, former Vice President and General Manager, Americas Concentrate Operations at PepsiCo, has joined as MCI’s new Chief Supply Chain Officer. SABMiller, SWD to Build a $ 60 Mln Brewery
